Akadot News - Buried Time Capsules | Greetings Everyone!! Welcome to this week's issue of Akadot News! Your only weekly source for the newest imports of your favorite yaoi, manga, magazines, and more. What ever happens to time capsules once they are recovered 5, 10, 15 years later? Yes it is great to remember things gone by and see what life was back then but then what? The items just become artifacts of the past, and then easily forgotten over time once again. Or are they reburied for another generation to find and rediscover the past?
What about digital data? What happens to it when it is archived, perhaps never to be seen again? I wonder what will become of all that data I had backed up in my Time Capsule? It'll probably go to some cyber oblivion once the drive is wiped and destroyed or reused. At least the data served me well and will not be easily forgotten. Now, I miss that safety net but what can I do when technology decides to fail us? They look so comfortable, especially to sleep in!
