Drinking Games
The holidays may have been too much for Ai.
Anime Holiday Drinking Game

There are no official anime holidays; time to celebrate with friends, family and fans; time to ruminate about the joy that anime has brought into our lives; time to bury those feelings of isolation, timidity and despair that psychologists said would end after high school; time to drink heavily. This week's drinking game is less a game as it is a proposal - a proposal for all of the possible anime holidays that can be adopted into the calendar year:

Second Impact, September 23rd: Celebrate that it didn't occur by drinking flaming shots

Return Day, December 26th: Traditionally Boxing Day, this is really the day that everyone returns unwanted Christmas gifts ... to fill your coffers for the purchase of more anime. Rejoice and drink.

All Those Fools Day, April 1st: Once a day of merriment and practical jokes, this solemn occasion gives us all a chance to sip our Martinis while quietly lamenting those pitiable lads who think that "Tenchi" is funny.

Spacin' Day, April 20th: The day to turn on, tune in and space out watching "Serial Experiments Lain." Take a break from alcohol and expand your mind dude.

Anime Expo, Week of July 4th: Everyone celebrates and drinks anyway, why not make it a national holiday.

Cosplay Day, October 31st: Dress up as your favorite anime character and roam the neighborhood knocking on doors threatening to give homeowners a trick if they don't give you tequila. There may be kids with candy around your ankles somewhere so enjoy a Butterfinger while you're waiting for the cops to show.

Valentine's Day February 14th: Drown the pain.
