Top Products featured at the Akadot Booth during Anime Expo (Items #1-5)
Exibitors from all around showcased a variety of anime and Japanese pop culture goods at this year's Anime Expo. Akadot Retail featured many products from manga supplies to ground-breaking toys imported directly from Japan. Take a look at what Akadot goods were the most popular with Anime Expo fans.
1.) Tottoko Hamutaro

The Ham-Hams definitely came out on top at the Akadot Retail booth! Whether it was the super Hamutaro doll or the mini Hamutaro badges, people came from all around to see these furry cuties. The most popular character was of course, Hamutaro. Grabbing second in the popularity vote was "Ribbon-chan" and the third most popular character was a tie between the brother and sister Hamtaro duo, Tora Ham-chan and her brother, Tora Ham-kun.

2.) Mutsu Water Looper

Fans kick out of playing with Akadot's virtual Pet, Mutsu. Fans enjoyed talking and interacting with Mutsu and had lots of fun watching Mutsu sing and dance for the audience. Some people who bought their own Mutsu pet lovingly carried it around with them during Anime Expo. Fans defintely got in on this great, Japan-imported pet that has all of the fun features of a real pet, but none of the hassles!

3.) Knockman

At first, fans had no idea what this strange little robot was. But, when the Akadot staff introduced the talents of Knockman, this little guy brought smiles to everyone's faces. After winding up Knockman's arm, he constantly taps his head in a steady beat. As one buyer put it, "Knockman perfectly describes how I feel sometimes!"

4.) Tachikawa Pen

The Tachikawa pen was a favorite among both amateur and professional manga artists. This pen is designed specifically for manga artists and features a sophisticated cartridge filler system that resists the usual cartridge-based problem of ink flow and skipping. Easy on the wallet, this was a great find for many manga artists.

5.) Half-Panda

Move over Tare-Panada, Half Panda is on the scene now and captured the hearts of Anime Expo fans. One side of this cuddly mascot features panda characteristics while the other side looks like a white bear. Why pay for a whole panda when you could get half a Panada that is just as cute?!
